Happy Birthday to our Beautiful Maryann!!!

Happy 5th Birthday, to our dear sweet MARYANN!!!!!!
In the morning, the boys created a treasure hunt with clues for the birthday girl.

We went to Toys R Us where she spent her money from Big Mom-Mom, Nana and Pop-Pop, Great Gram and Mommy and Daddy. She got a cute dog on a leash that barks and goes for a walk, it is the perfect thing for her. She also got a bath toy Ariel and a penguin pillow pet, both of which she loves.
Here she is with her penguin cake and her penguin pillow pet!
Renee's family came and stayed with us and celebrated Maryann's night with us. We played pin the beak on the penguin and Red Rover at Maryann's request.

Here she is about to dig into the ice cream cake she requested and the big brownie penguin.

On Monday, Maryann turned five!!! I can hardly believe it. It doesn't seem possible!! What a joy to have a little girl!! Well, 3 for that matter! But Maryann is our first and we could not be more blessed with this sweet, strong, nurturing, beautiful, girl. She is quiet like her daddy and is many times as quiet as a mouse, as her daddy sometimes refers to her as. She gets excited about everything and loves little toys/things that she always carries with her. She always has a stuffed friend nearby. She is the craftiest little thing...always coloring, cutting, gluing, and drawing. She is so precious. She is a great sister and is so easy to get along with. The boys are definitely in love with her too, my boys that is. They love having her around and both kind of fight for her attention at times. SHE IS A GREAT LITTLE GIRL!! We are so thankful for all the joy, hugs and kisses she brings into our lives. THANK YOU LORD!

Maryann's First Days With Us

Here is the proud Daddy on January 17, five years ago.
We both were so excited to find out the we had a little...girl. Mark affectionately called her Munchkin Pie, hence her nickname now, Pie or Piesy.

Isn't she such a cute little chunker!!!
I couldn't be happier with my little sweetie, I could only imagine then what joy she would bring into our lives...oh she has. Thank YOU, dear LORD for my Maryann Genevieve. What a joy she is to us!!!! Happy 5th Birthday Maryann!!
